Weddings are a wonderful time for gifts – and we don’t just mean the wedding presents you get, but also the gifts you give to those special people who have helped you in the run-up to your big day.

The bride and groom will usually present gifts to the bridesmaids and the best man during the speeches. These are normally lasting mementoes of the day, perhaps a piece of jewellery for your chief bridesmaid, a specially dressed teddy bear for your small bridesmaids, a hip flask for your best man – but they don’t have to be. They can be anything from pop concert tickets to golf clubs, from the first edition of a favourite book to a day at the races.
